I JUST got a call from this number and the person (Philip) claimed to be calling from POA (Police Association of Ontario) looking for monetary "support" for the Cops, Kids & Fishing program. I was first put off that he called my cell phone while I am at work. I started pressing him about what company HE worked for and he made it sound like he worked FOR the POA. It was almost like he was guilting me into giving money. I tried to explain that I'm a mom of 3; as much as I would like to donate even $20, I don't have it and to try back in a couple of weeks. He was being pretty insistent. My work phone rang and I said I had to go. He thanked me for taking his call and hung up. I emailed the POA to see if this was legit but haven't heard back. Even tried calling the number for the Kids, Cops & Canadian Tire fishing program but the phone was not answered.

Also got a call from the same person just now who wanted donations for a cops & kids fishing program. I asked him for the website, and he told me kidsandcops.ca, but that their website was currently not available to accept online donations--even though I clearly see a paypal link on the website. Very sketchy.

I received a call this morning from this number asking me to make a donation. I inquired about whether I can donate via the website but he said the site was not equipped for online donations. He then proceeded to say that the phone line is secure and I can provide him my info there.

Word of caution, never give your information out via the phone. Always do so on a secure website that you trust.

I got a call from this number, but I didn't pick it up; when I called back, no one answer the call either, only a robot said let me leave the number and name and they would call back within three days.
I would never let'm know my info, not to mention getting a single penny.
