This is THE SAME SCAMMER that also calls from 888-224-0966. (They've inadvertently confirmed this with a nasty callback from the Oregon number in response to my contact on the 888 line). From past contact from 0966 I know every couple of months they change their claim of who they are and what they state is the problem when they call. Last month it was supposedly GOOGLE. This month they claim to be DELL SUPPORT. I played along for a while and listened to some BS in response to me not owning a Dell. Even after telling them that, the idiot still said I gave them my phone number when I registered my DELL PC for warranty. The story got more convoluted when they couldn't provide the last four of the serial # of the PC nor the broadband IP address from the system they claimed to be receiving "alerts" from. I finally told the guy to "shove it" with some other appropriate comments and they called me back on the 503 number to tell me what they thought about my playing-along with their scheme and wasting their time.
